April 21, 2010 - Bingo time at the Senior Center
On April 21, 2010 Mrs. Ruth G. went to the Yorba Linda Senior Center to participate in a Bingo Tournament. Mrs. Ruth enjoy the game with approximatelly others 80 participants.

Activities
Depending of the physical condition, individually or in a group, a different plan of activities is developed at each facility.
We are continiously working on the theory that physical activity would improve the quality of life of those aged 75 and above, and help them lead independent lives. So we are developing a dinamic model of activities that could be performed for our residents according with their particular conditions.
All our activities requires participation of residents, caregivers and the administration working at the same time to warrante the success. Below you will find some of the activities developed with our current and/or former residents:

Chair Work Out
Every resident at Golden Years Assisted Living will be encouraged to participate in our Chair Work-Out activity. According to the resident’s physical condition they can participate in all activities designed to stimulate their range of motion which includes walks and upper and lower extremity biking.

One of the activites that is most enjoyable for women is to visit the salon. They all come back happy and gorgeous!
